Karnataka PSI Eligibility Criteria 2019

1. Age Limitation:

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Maximum age: should not exceed 25

1. Educational Qualification: Aspirants should have any of the Bachelor’s degrees from an acknowledged University in India.
2. Selection Process: Aspirants are selected according to the performance done in the given below the four basic tests

• Survival analysis
• Fitness test
• Written test
• And finally personal interview

About Survival Test:

1. For everyone except women, Ex-service and In-servicemen:

• Race: 1600 Meters for nearly 7 minutes
• Long Jump: 3.80 Meters with three attempts
• High Jump: 1.20 Meters with three attempts
• Shot-put: 7.26 kg for about 5.60 Meters with also three attempts

1. For Women and Ex-service & In-servicemen:

• Race: 400 Meters for nearly 2 minutes
• Long Jump: 2.50 Meters with 3 attempts
• High Jump: 0.90 Meters with 3 attempts
• Shot-put: 4 kg for about 3.75 Meters with 3 attempts only

Karnataka PSI Physical Fitness Standards

1. For Male Candidates:

• Height should be about 168 cm
• Chest should be 86 cm for maximum expansion, whereas 5cm for minimum expansion

1. For Women and Servicemen:

• Height must be 157 cm for Women and 168 for In-servicemen
• Remember that there is no height restriction for ex-servicemen
• Chest must be 86 cm for maximum expansion and about 5 cm for minimum expansion for both In-Service and Ex-Servicemen
